Rock/Mineral Info:
Polychrome jasper (also known as desert jasper) is a type of opaque microcrystalline chalcedony known for its variety of earthy pastel tones. Its many colors can include shades of red, pink, orange, brown, blue, gray, and sometimes teal or lavender. Polychrome jasper forms when volcanic material erupts, releasing silica-rich magma into the environment. As the magma cools and solidifies, it creates chalcedony deposits.
Metaphysical Properties:
Polychrome jasper is associated with grounding, balance, motivation, and connection with the Earth Mother. It is related primarily to the root chakra.
