Each piece of this tumbled and polished opalized citrine is approximately 1/2" - 1 1/4" in size (we request that you allow for some slight size variation outside that range). Please select whether you would like a 1/2 LB lot or 1 LB lot.
Rock/Mineral Info:
Citrine is a variety of quartz that forms when amethyst is heated to extremely high temperatures, whether naturally in the Earth's crust or by human influence. Natural citrine usually bears a champagne-yellow coloration, whereas heat-treated pieces can be a wide array of yellow/orange shades. Opalized citrine contains more water included in its crystal lattice, making it an opal and citrine mixture.
