Tumbled Jasper, Fancy

Each piece of this tumbled and polished fancy jasper is approximately 1/2" - 1 1/4" in size (we request that you allow for some slight size variation outside that range). Please select whether you would like a 1/2 LB lot or 1 LB lot.

Fancy jasper is famous for its striking colors swirling and mottling throughout the stone. The most common colors found in fancy jasper are various shades of red, green, brown, and yellow.

Fancy jasper forms through mineralization, wherein mineral components like iron, manganese, and silica come together under particular conditions. These minerals usually precipitate and crystallize gradually within volcanic or sedimentary rocks.
