Tumbled Opal, Dendritic - 1/2 LB

Each piece of this tumbled and polished dendritic opal is approximately 1/2" - 1 1/4" in size (we request that you allow for some slight size variation outside that range). 

Opal is not technically a crystal, but a type of mineraloid that forms when silica-rich water accumulates and hardens within host rocks. Dendritic opal is known for its dendrites, or hornblende inclusions that bear a resemblance to ferns or other plants.
