Each piece of this tumbled and polished amazonite is approximately 1/2" - 1 1/4" in size (we request that you allow for some slight size variation outside that range). Please select whether you would like a 1/2 LB lot or 1 LB lot.
Rock/Mineral Info:
Black onyx is a type of chalcedony known for its opaque black coloration. Sometimes, but not always, it shows white quartz banding. Black onyx forms when silica-rich fluids flow through underground rocks, depositing silica and other minerals along the way. When the fluid evaporates, it leaves behind layers of black chalcedony within these host rocks.

Black onyx is associated with stability, grounding, and shielding from negative energy. It is connected primarily to the root chakra.
