Tumbled Agate, Banded

Each piece of this tumbled and polished banded agate is approximately 1/2" - 1 1/4" in size (we request that you allow for some slight size variation outside that range). Please select whether you would like a 1/2 LB lot or 1 LB lot.

Agate is a type of chalcedony (microcrystalline quartz) that is famous for its beautiful banding patterns. These are caused by the gradual layering of agate inside rocks, resulting in agate geodes. There are many different types of agate with an array of natural colors.
