Description:

Each piece of this tumbled and polished amazonite is approximately 1/2" - 1 1/4" in size (we request that you allow for some slight size variation outside that range). Please select whether you would like a 1/2 LB lot or 1 LB lot.

Rock/Mineral Info:

Amazonite is a greenish-blue, potassium-rich feldspar mineral. It was originally named "Amazon Stone" after the Amazon River, even though there are no known occurrences of amazonite near that river.

This gem has been used for over 2000 years by multiple civilizations. It has been found in archaeological excavations for ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt.

Metaphysical Properties:

Amazonite is associated with hope, beauty, love, good luck, soothing the nervous system, truth, and honor. It is also connected with the throat and heart chakras.
