Rock/Mineral Info:

Tourmalinated quartz describes clear or white quartz with inclusions of black tourmaline crystals. Since black tourmaline and quartz require very similar geological conditions to form, they often grow together. Quartz is the second most common silicate mineral on Earth (next to feldspar), while tourmaline is a boron silicate mineral.

Metaphysical Properties:

Tourmalinated quartz is associated with the combined energies of quartz and tourmaline; therefore, it is an excellent stone for clarity, healing, balance, protection, amplifying energy, and shielding against negative energy. It is connected primarily to the third eye chakra.
