Rock/Mineral Info:

Orange calcite is a carbonate mineral known for its vibrant orange hues, which are caused by trace inclusions of other minerals. Many of the different calcite colors grow together in limestone deposits; upon being mined, they are sorted by color and brought to the wider crystal market. Calcites are relatively soft, scoring a 3 on the Mohs hardness scale, and as such can be scratched easily by harder substances.

Orange calcite is associated with happiness, hope, and adventure. It is connected primarily to the solar plexus and sacral chakras.
