Rock/Mineral Info:

Lapis lazuli is a combination of three different minerals: lazurite (blue), calcite (grey or white), and pyrite (golden flecks). When viewed under UV light, lapis lazuli can sometimes show a lovely orange or yellow fluorescence. This stone is often mistaken for sodalite, which also bears a lovely deep blue color and sometimes grows with pyrite. However, if there is significant pyrite present in a given piece, it is most likely lapis lazuli and not sodalite. 

Metaphysical Properties:

Lapis lazuli is associated with inner vision, spiritual enlightenment, and self-awareness. It is connected primarily to the third eye chakra.
