Rock/Mineral Info:

Amber is an organic mineral composed of fossilized tree resin from prehistoric forests. It can manifest in many colors, including orange, red, yellow, green, brown, and black.

In ancient forests, tree resin flowed down branches and tree trunks into blobs and stalactites, which accumulated and hardened over time. The resin was then buried deeper and deeper into the Earth, and was subjected to an immense amount of heat and pressure. Gradually, these conditions caused the resin’s compounds to chemically react with each other. This ultimately resulted in amber.

Metaphysical Properties:

Amber is associated with purification, emotional healing, and psychic protection. It is connected primarily with the solar plexus chakra.
