Rock/Mineral Info:
Conglomerate agate is a type of opaque microcrystalline quartz known for its colorful mottled pattern. Agates form when mineral-rich water flows through underground rock, depositing silica and other minerals along the way. These minerals build up over time to form agate. Then, after the initial jasper has formed, it may undergo extreme pressure or compaction, causing it to fracture. More silica-rich water then flows through the cracks in the agate, causing the unusual pattern for which conglomerate agate is famous.
Metaphysical Properties:
Conglomerate agate is associated with grounding and resourcefulness. It resonates with the root, sacral, and solar plexus chakras.
