Rutilated quartz refers to quartz with inclusions of rutile growing within. Normally these inclusions are long and blade-like or hair-like (particularly fine inclusions are sometimes referred to as "rabbit hair rutile"). The rutile gives off a lovely golden sheen when moved in the light.
Metaphysical Properties:
Rutile quartz is a good stone for clarity and intuition. It is associated with the solar plexus chakra.
