Flower agate is a type of chalcedony that is famous for its flower-like inclusions and soft shades of pink, beige, and white. It is technically not a true agate because it does not have banding, but like true agate, it also belongs to the microcrystalline quartz family. It forms when mineral-rich fluid flows through underground rock, depositing silica and other mineral inclusions along the way. These bond and accumulate to form flower agate.
