Rock/Mineral Info:

Bloodstone is a type of jasper composed of green and red jasper. The green jasper tends to be more prominent, with the red jasper adding blood-like flecks to the stone. These jaspers both belong to the chalcedony family, which is a type of microcrystalline quartz. Chalcedony forms when mineral-rich fluid flows through underground rock, depositing silica and other minerals along the way. Over time, these minerals accumulate and crystallize, forming what we call bloodstone.

Bloodstone is associated with strength, protection, and grounding. It resonates primarily with the root chakra.
