Lapis lazuli is a mineral known for its gorgeous blue coloration and the flecks of pyrite that are sprinkled throughout it. It is composed of three main minerals: lazurite, calcite, and pyrite. Sometimes, it may also contain sodalite. Lapis lazuli often fluoresces a beautiful bright orange when exposed to UV light.
