Rock/Mineral Info:
Labradorite is a type of feldspar known for its play of color called "labradorescence." Labradorescence occurs when light enters the stone, hits a twinning surface within the stone, and reflects back out again. Named after the Labrador Peninsula in Canada, labradorite is described in some Inuit legends as being a piece of the aurora borealis that froze and fell to Earth.
Metaphysical Properties:
Labradorite is associated with expansion, higher consciousness, spiritual growth, awareness, and creativity.
