Rock/Mineral Info:
Conglomerate jasper is a type of opaque microcrystalline quartz known for its spotted or mottled pattern. Jaspers form when mineral-rich water flows through underground rock, depositing silica and other minerals along the way. These minerals build up over time to form jasper. Then, after the initial jasper has formed, it may undergo extreme pressure or compaction, causing it to fracture. More silica-rich water then flows through the cracks in the jasper, causing the fragmented or spotted pattern for which conglomerate jasper is famous.
Metaphysical Properties:
Conglomerate jasper is associated with grounding and resourcefulness. It resonates with the root, sacral, and solar plexus chakras.
