Approx Size:Pieces range in size from about 1/2 to 2 inches.
Rock/Mineral Info: Mined in the same area in Mexico as the Purple Sonoran Flare Opal. Is mostly purple, pink, orange, to white in color. Soft material that is easy to work with, makes great carvings. Related to it's more common crystalline cousins such as quartz and agate. It was formed from amorphous lumps of silica.
