Geology: It is found in the Kalahari Desert, in South Africa near the Namibia border. Kalahari means "the great thirst". The Kalahari Desert stretches across seven countries: Botswana, Zambia, the Republic of South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Though it is not a true desert, as it does receive too much rainfall.
Metaphysical: Kalahari Jasper is said to bring about harmony and relaxation.
